GLORY TO YOU

Sue O’Donnell. 29.07.20

“Salvation belongs to the LORD. Your blessing is upon Your people.” (Psalm 4 v 1)

Glory to You, O most holy, exalted Trinity;

Glory to You, One in Three Persons, beloved by us;

Glory to You, at the †of our redemption;

Glory to You, throughout our salvation;

Glory to You, in Your all loving mercy;

Glory to You, in our renewed identity;

Glory to You, in gifting us holiness;

Glory to You, as we pursue a likeness to Jesus;

Glory to You, as the Holy Spirit enriches our faith;

Glory to You, through the blessings new every morning;

Glory to You, in assessing us as made righteous by forgiveness;

Glory to You, for the outcome of prayer;

Glory to You, for prayer averting disaster;

Glory to You, in all holy wisdom and truth implemented;

Glory to You, in Your family consecrated.

“Rejoice the soul of Your servant, for to You, O Lord, I lift up my soul. For You, Lord, are good and ready to forgive, and abundant in mercy to all those who call upon You.” (Psalm 86 v 4, 5)

Glory to You, in all You do and say for our benefit;

Glory to You, in the continuous godly purpose of love;

Glory to You, in our experience of the hope and peace You gift us;

Glory to You, in the outcome of the faith we live by;

Glory to You, in carrying our fear, worry and every concern;

Glory to You, as we listen and learn from You;

Glory to You, in making us good works in progress;

Glory to You, as nothing is an impossibility for You as a Trinity;

Glory to You, in our victorious living in Christ Jesus;

Glory to You, in our Christian service done wholeheartedly;

Glory to You, through the riches of our inheritance;

Glory to You, in Your incomparably great power;

Glory to You, in granting us authority over the enemy;

Glory to You, in the Spirit led work of Jesus’ followers;

Glory to You, in the law of the Spirit of life being active and effective;

Glory to You, in our joy in Jesus.

“Give unto the LORD, glory and strength. Give unto the LORD the glory due His name.” (Psalm 2 v 1, 2)

“Worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness.” (Psalm 29 v 2)

“You, O lord, are a God full of compassion, and gracious, longsuffering and abundant in mercy and faith.” (Psalm 86 v15) So it is only right to worship You. Let us pray to always be able to do this by sharing in the life of love of the Lord Jesus, responding to the Holy Spirit in order to offer our worship, the beauty of all they make holy. Amen.
